• Go Diving! Discover another world below the surface with Beqa Divers Fiji. A short drive from Suva is the Beqa Lagoon who offer various diving courses are available for both the experienced and novice divers.
• Visiting Suva is a pleasant experience as this town has a charm of its own. There are plenty of old colonial buildings that are well worth seeing, alongside the many places of worship here. This city is also has a number of beautiful gardens to visit, especially the Thurston Gardens, which was created in 1913. When in Suva, don’t forget to go shopping, with many colorful stores and markets found all over town.
• Trekking & Hiking: Visit the Colo-i-Suva Forest Park, just outside the city. A superb place to go bushwalking, this verdant and green park is great for a picnic as well with three swimming pools, picnic tables, changing rooms and shelters. You can hike to Mount Korobaba, which is roughly a two-hour walk or if you are a serious trekker, climb up Joske’s Thumb for some incredible views of the surrounding area.
• Surfing: There is a good surf break near the Suva lighthouse. Accessible by boat only, the waves here are good for the casual surfer.
